The space
The house is located in a beautiful leafy suburb of Nairobi known as Hardy, Lang’ata, which is next to Karen. The location is very close to Giraffe Manor, the Giraffe Center, the Karen Blixen museum and some excellent local restaurants.
The spacious guest cottage is a self contained and includes 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, dining and living room and a wonderful verandah.
The house has excellent Wifi and a large screen TV with all the channels.
You will be welcomed with fresh soup on arrival!
We will ensure your kitchen is stocked with fresh local fruits such as mangoes and pawpaw, eggs, bacon, fresh bread, fresh coffee beans and juice for your arrival. We can either cook or prepare food for you or arrange food shopping as required. We can even arrange a chef if required!
The house has a stunningly beautiful garden and a large swimming pool which guests are welcome to use.
The lovely staff will take care of your washing and ironing on the premises.
Transport (private taxi at local rate) can also be arranged for airport transfers and daily use, sight seeing, etc.

Staying at Jeremy’s was the BEST possible first night and morning in Kenya we could have had. His communication in preparation for our trip was perfect, He arranged for a private car to pick us up, all at different times of the evening / early morning. We arrived to find a fine room, with roses (it was our honeymoon) a very comfortable bed, blankets, and pillows. The breakfast was the best I have had in three visits to Kenya and his home stunning and comfortable and those who work with him are kind and welcoming. Jeremy took us to see the giraffes at the manor down the street and had us back to the airport. Perfect perfect perfect.
My first business trip to Nairobi ran seamlessly because of Jeremy’s attention to detail and his commitment to hosting guests at his beautiful house. His attention was applied both to ensuring my comfort and to my needs as a business traveler – arranging taxis, helping to schedule meetings, printing confirmations etc. The house, which Jeremy has had built himself, is an oasis. What a great find, I had a wonderful few days staying at Jeremy’s B&B. The house and grounds are lovely .. understated luxury in the rooms and living areas, he’s done a beautiful job with the furniture and art work to create the feeling of staying in the stylish home of a good friend, rather than just a B&B. There’s a range of rooms, whether you’re on your own or with a group and the gardens and pool are gorgeous! Jeremy is the perfect host – a mine of information on visiting and working in Nairobi, great insights and contacts on anything you may need and assistance in arranging anything from transport and sightseeing to business meetings/events. He made a big effort to be flexible, so I felt like a real guest rather than a customer. Finally he’s also a great cook, offering wonderful dining options out on the terrace and fireside drinks. A truly enjoyable and relaxing stay which made my business trip feel more like a holiday! Thanks again and see you soon.
